Two holidays for the price of one

xp_topazIt turns out Diwali is on Halloween this year, which I think presents a unique opportunity.
Diwali, to keep it simple, is the Hindu festival of lights, meant to symbolize spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.
Given how predisposed we are here to disasters, especially on Halloween, I thought this might a fun opportunity to utilize some Halloween decorations for Diwali observations. Jack o' Lanterns, to be specific. I have no artistic talent, but I'll happily provide pumpkins if people would be interested in carving them (or Clea will provide them if she has any of the ones she grew leftover) the day before, and I'll light them up Halloween night.
