This is probably a strange question, but does anyone around here do anything for the summer solstice? I didn't realize it was so soon.

It is the longest day of the year. I am sure you could convince someone to grill food for you if nothing else, and all of you can sun worship at the pool.

Get Fred to drag out the big grills - they're color coded and it'll be a party. Grilled apples are the best thing.

Mr. Gibney - We always had a bonfire had a sunset, and my mother would sing. There's more to the celebrations, but we did it in our backyard so we tried to keep inconspicuous. Neighbors and all....

Not all of us do the Mother Nature/Earth Goddess thing, but everyone likes fire. Bonfire it is. ;)
